I have a rug in a high-traffic area over wall-to-wall carpeting. The rug moves as the day wears on and I would like a pad that will stop this. What do you suggest? Size of pad should be about 48 x 72 inches
The only pad we know that works is our Superior Lock 7/16". Wall-to-wall carpeting can be tough so that thickness is necessary. Rubber side up felt side down.
If an all felt pad doesn't work too well in high-traffic areas what do you suggest for 4x6 and 3x3 area rugs? The pads must be non-toxic.

What type of pad is most appropriate for a handmade needlepoint rug? It's 4' x 6' and will be going on a hardwood floor.
I need a pad and am looking at Super Lock Natural and Anchor Grip, but I don't want anything too thick. My main concern is to get something that adheres to the rug. Previously, I’ve had rugs slip off pads and don’t want it to happen again.
